Stapleford Town Centre Recovery Fund Reopens For Limited Time

28 Jan 2023

As part of the Stapleford Town Deal Programme, a total of £1million has been allocated for the Town Centre Recovery Fund project.

After closing in June 2022 due to being fully subscribed, a very small amount of funding has now become available again. Meaning that the Stapleford Towns Deal Executive Board are now looking for a few high quality applications up to the maximum value of £5,000.

The Stapleford Towns Deal Executive Board are especially looking for eligible businesses who  can demonstrate that they can use the grant funding to create jobs or improve the disabled accessibility of their premises. If businesses are able to provide co-funding this will be looked upon favourably.

The fund has two strands to support different aspects of business recovery:

The Business Continuity Grant (BCG) aims to support business resilience and growth over the long term, sustaining occupancy levels within Stapleford Town Centre. This grant will support existing businesses looking to expand the way they distribute their services.

The Building Development Fund (BDF) is to create buildings of the future; improving accessibility, energy efficiency and the look and feel of Stapleford Town Centre.

Businesses can check that they are eligible for the fund and develop and submit an application by using the available guidance at www.broxtowe.gov.uk/towncentrerecoveryfund.

The final closing date new applications is 31 January 2023.
