Leisure Centre Plans Revealed

The Borough Council are now well on with designing the plans for a replacement leisure centre in Bramcote. The plan, which we welcome, is that this will be built next to the existing centre, which is at the end of it’s life. This will mean that there should be the minimum disruption to the provision of facilities. We are delighted that the proposals are being taken forward but we have concerns that the planned design will not be suitable for the swimming clubs who use the pool and will prevent competitive swimming taking place. We have raised these concerns with the council and have urged them to work with the swimming clubs to ensure that the pool is correctly designed.
