David Watts named as Lib Dem PCC Candidate
Nottinghamshire Police are in special measures. That’s because the Conservatives decided to give us a Police and Crime Commissioner with no experience and no ideas. You can change this on May 2nd. The Liberal Democrats believe that the Commissioner should be someone who knows what they are doing. Our candidate is David Watts, who has degrees in business law and criminal justice studies. He is a qualified solicitor and a trained criminologist. As well as being a previous leader of Broxtowe Borough Council David has more than 30 years experience working in the criminal justice system. He brings the skills and expertise to do the job properly and to help the police recover from the mess that the current Commissioner has got them into. David’s four aims as Commissioner are to reduce crime, reduce the fear of crime, catch more criminals and improve care for victims of crime.
Please use your vote on 2nd May to elect David Watts as the new Police and Crime Commissioner.
